Barrely 2018 Hogover Roast

For those who partied a little too hard the night before, Jack Rose is hosting a Barrely 2018 Hogover Roast, just in time for when people start rolling out of bed, from 3-10pm. Hosted on the heated rooftop terrace, the non-ticketed/open to the public event will offer barrel-aged beverages and hangover-friendly pork & Southern sides, including a whole roasted pig, black-eyed pea salad, collard greens and homemade buttermilk biscuits, all for $15.
Jack Rose will exclusively debut the final installment of its “Ryes of DC” series — 3 Stars 3yr Willett Rye Barrel-Aged Madness — a collaborative brew which was aged for 18 months in one of the bar’s own proprietary Willett rye barrels. Other barrel-aged rarities include Port Brewing Company’s Bourbon Barrel-Aged Santa’s Little Helper, Right Proper “Ryes of DC No. 5 of 6” Baron Nahem which aged for 10 months in Jack Rose’s 3-year Willett rye barrel, and the Hardywood Park Bourbon Gingerbread Stout.
Whiskeys will include Jack Rose’s proprietary hand-picked Knob Creek 25th Anniversary bourbon, bottled at 13 years old and cask strength, and Willett’s 3-year rye. Beers will range from $8-$10, beer-and-whiskey pairings will range from $9-$14, and a flight of all four pairings will be $40. Jack Rose will also offer bonus drink specials including $4 beer cans, $6 punches and $8 cocktails.
