Sunday Series Whisk(e)y Tasting: Old Forester

For this Sunday Series tasting, we’ll be exploring a true Kentucky legacy brand: Old Forester! One of only six distilleries given licenses to distill during Prohibition, it is the last one standing: to date, it is the only whisk(e)y to be sold by the same company before, during and after Prohibition.
2020 celebrates Old Forester’s 150th anniversary and to commemorate, they’ve released a Fall/Winter 2020 Limited-Release, “Old Forester 150th Anniversary”. Comprised of three batches, each batch was married from 150 hand-selected barrels made of wood seasoned for 150 days.
The tasting will feature all three batches of this newest release, plus expressions from the Whiskey Row series and exclusive Jack Rose single barrels.
